Why would you need a damp report?

Damp reports can be commissioned by property owners, purchasers, management companies or building contractors for buildings where signs of damp have been detected, and further investigation is needed. The cause of damp can usually be attributed to trees and vegetation near buildings, blocked ventilation, or roof and guttering defects leading to moisture penetration.
